SOMETHING FOR NOTHING IS SOMETHING

As the adage goes, if you get something for nothing it has no value.  So why get it?  Better yet, why should someone present the opportunity for something of value for nothing?

I’ve been asking myself that for more than a year.

The Financial Professionals Coalition was launched as a free, no-cost, industry membership organization, “Something For Nothing,” based on the following premise as stated in its initial Press Release.

“The Financial Professionals Coalition will elevate the industry by offering a clearinghouse of resources to help our members navigate their careers and better handle their daily personal and professional challenges. The Coalition will be inclusive and diverse; and our Founders’ and Featured Members’ backgrounds reflect an amazing history of talent, accomplishment, and compassion.  As such, we expect that our membership will hold many views and opinions, often at odds with each other. We welcome robust debate and the clash of ideas…”

To date, the Coalition has succeeded in providing referrals for Recruiting, Licensing, career advice and a multitude of referrals for Financial Professionals in need of Legal guidance.

THE FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS COALITION CONCEPT WORKS.  The Coalition has created value in “Something For Nothing…”  Your membership counts.  The Coalition is the exception to the “Something for Nothing” rule.  MEMBERSHIP IS FREE.  You may never need to ask the Coalition for any referrals for Licensing, Recruiting, Legal Issues, Expert Witness’ and more.  But if you do have the need, wouldn’t it be reassuring to know that , as a member, you have all of the Coalition’s resources at your fingertips?  And if you still rely on the “Something for Nothing” adage, the Coalition would welcome your DONATION, putting aside the “…is Nothing” part of your hesitancy to becoming a Member
